The
David Boatwright Partnership originally started in
business in the late sixties with four Main Dealerships in the
UK from which we were franchised dealers for specialist vehicles such as Lotus,
Maserati, Alfa Romeo and were the oldest TVR dealership in the country.
We were also main agents for Mazda, Peugeot and Subaru. Gradually we began to
focus on the more exotic vehicles and in the late 1970's entered
in to the American vehicle market, eventually moving to focus solely on
just that. We have remained loyal to the American Car market
for decades, catering for all aspects including American vehicle sales,
nationwide parts supply, workshops and a shipping and registration
service. We are also one of the founding members of the American
Imports Agents Association (AIAA) that campaigns at government
level for the interests of the American car market in the UK.

We have occupied our current premises in Braintree in Essex for the last 20 years. Both our
Sales and Parts departments operate from the same location, whilst our
Service Department "American Vehicle Services" occupy a second premises in Braintree.
Our parts department stocks huge levels of American car and truck parts and offer a mail order or collection service. We have weekly air freight deliveries from the USA for any item that is not in stock. This covers everything from filters to body panels to engines!
We also supply a large range of accessories, performance and styling parts and are Bosch main dealers for both American and European and Japanese vehicles.
We are dealers for Magnaflow Exhausts and also Climair
and WeatherTech dealers for accessories such as Rain Deflectors and Wind deflectors.
Our AVS workshop has both the latest
GM Tech 2 and Ford WDS diagnostic equipment to cover all modern American vehicle servicing needs, including both diagnostics and re-programming. We offer full finance facilities and a door to door shipping service for customers who have already purchased a vehicle in the US and wish to take advantage of our years of experience.

Along with the more well known American vehicles such as Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Pontiac and Chevrolet, we have long been famous for the sale of Sherrod Dayvans for whom we have been the sole UK concessionaire for some 18 years. Today the American Dayvan still offers features and specifications which are impossible to find in any other type of vehicle. The Sherrod conversion in particular provides a luxurious yet practical motoring experience.

Cars, Trucks, Dayvans and SUV's are all part of the performance package
at Boatwright's. We always have vehicles in stock and all our
used vehicles are supplied with a year's bumper to bumper
warranty, our new vehicles come with three years cover. We don't believe in pressure sales and can
claim to have been in business for over 35 years. As such we
enjoy a high level of repeat business from clients who return
and again and again and some of whom we have dealt with - quiet
literally - for decades.
