Fantastic Weekend at Brands Hatch American Speedfest
Thirty Thousand people visited the iconic Brands Hatch circuit in Kent at the weekend for two days of motor racing, entertainment and the biggest American Car Show of its kind in the UK.
We are proud to sponsor this great event and had a display of vehicles there on our stand, on track and outside MSV HQ. Family fun included a funfair, Demon Drome wall of Death motorcycle show and there were shows in the live action arena all weekend including drifting, monster trucks and burn-out competitions. There were NASCAR Whelen Euro Series racing and a host of other series proving on track bumper to bumper racing throughout Saturday and Sunday.
The event also includes a huge display of American vehicles from the classics to modified to brand new.
Customised Safety Car and Course Car
We provided the Safety Car and Course car for the weekend and decided to “improve” them. To the Dodge Challenger RT we added adjustable coil-over suspension, up-rated anti roll bars front and rear, long tube stainless steel headers with stainless Borla cat-back exhaust, uprated braes all round, cold air intake, custom tune and stunning new livery. Our “old-skool” Chevy Silverado got similar treatment with a suspension lower, uprated brakes, Kooks long tube stainless steel headers with stainless steel custom exhaust and new smaller wheels with performance tyres for the track. We had the truck custom wrapped changing it from Pewter Metallic to Satin Black.
These were used as the Safety Car and the Course Car for the whole weekend. They looked stunning on the grid as NASCAR lined up. They both sound wonderful.

The crowds were treated to some wonderful racing throughout the weekend with NASCAR Whelen Euro races and many other series.
